Lovely Anna, who lives locally, makes the most delicious jam with fruits from her garden. She wants to sell them at the deli and we’ve agreed to help. Only problem is she needs jam jars! Any shape or size… as long as it has it’s correct lid. So, please bring in any recyclable jars, all shapes and sizes work, and help Anna distribute her great jams. Or come in and try some of her jam with Minkies Breakfast

We have scoured the Antique Fairs and collected some really beautiful retro tins. We’ve been filling them with our delicious, freshly baked cookies and sweet treats. People are loving this idea for an unusual pressie and it’s becoming a real hit. I need to get back out to find more soon! But if you would prefer to bring in your own tin for us to then fill with sweet treats, feel free. We’ll just fill it up and put the finishing touches to it!

We are huge fans of the brilliant Lexi Cinema. And in total admiration of the work and ethos of the place. It’s founder Sally Wilton is an inspiration. The gamut of films and events that The Lexi put are diverse and they get some great guest speakers. A visit to The Lexi makes for a great night out. And every ticket you buy also goes towards making a real difference to the lives of families in Lynedoch Village in South Africa.
